Halle’s video, another #FitnessFriday from last week, pulls together clips from a backyard workout, which includes squats, running, Russian twists, ab wheel exercises and incorporating a 15 pound medicine ball. All Halle favourites! The reel soundtrack was “What it is” by Doechii (which I’m currently adding to my workout playlist).
Halle said her workout plan was created by her longtime trainer Peter Lee Thomas and is available on her wellness platform, re-spin. “What I love about it [workout] is that anyone can do it. So let’s go,” Halle wrote in her caption.
I wasn’t the only one inspired by this epic training kill. Halle supporters were full of praise in the comments. “You are an inspiration ❤️❤️❤️,” one fan wrote. “I need your coach AND your dynamism!” writes another. Last month, she shared a video using battle ropes, a bosu and a medicine ball. Halle also likes to use wrist weights, dumbbells and jump rope to change up her routines. This queen has understood that to keep a consistent training program, it is good to change it!

After her water, Halle fuels her workout with coffee and pre-workout protein (usually Can’t Beet This by Purium). Once she’s exercised, Halle will eat something substantial like steak and dark greens (kale or spinach).
Halle will also snack on vegetables, like sliced avocado or cucumber, throughout the day. She also loves lamb chops, so she’ll usually have it with broccoli or another vegetable for dinner. Her favorite bedtime snack? Bone broth.
