The star – who’s about to hit the big time in Marvel’s next film Madame Web— exudes confidence on the red carpet and in his on-screen roles (especially in Euphoria season two). However, she hasn’t always felt so good about herself. She recently said QG (opens in a new tab) magazine that she was “embarrassed” about her body at school and got into sports to show that it didn’t “define” who she was.

Sydney Sweeney workout: How the star stays in shape
1. MMA sessions
Sydney is a big fan of Mixed Martial Arts or MMA. From our sister site Marie Claire (opens in a new tab)the actress has been training intensely since she was 14 and entered her first competition at 18. She revealed on The Kelly Clarkson Show (opens in a new tab) that it was her parents who encouraged her to give it a shot. “My mom and dad used to tell me to try to fall in love with as many things as possible,” she said. “[I was] like very inside.
The star has expanded to To carry (opens in a new tab) how she outnumbered the guys at workouts when she started. “So I have everything in pink – shawls, gloves, mouth guards, everything – because when you walk into the ring as a girl dressed in pink, guys are like ‘anything,'” a- she explained. “But then when you can kick their ass, that’s the greatest feeling there is.”
And it was the pink accessories that made an appearance in an impressive instagram (opens in a new tab) video she shared of herself doing MMA with a personal trainer. 2. Outdoor activities
While it’s unconfirmed if the Hollywood star is a fan of the Hot Girl Walk, she previously revealed that she enjoys walking regularly with her pit bull mix, named Tank. “I try to walk my dog twice a day,” Sweeney said. However, stepping isn’t the only outdoor activity she enjoys. “If I feel really motivated, I run,” added the star. She also shared Instagram posts of herself jet-skiing on a beautiful lake and skiing down a snowy mountain. When it comes to getting her heart rate up, she sure likes to make it fun!
3. Home workouts
However, Sydney isn’t averse to more “traditional” workouts either. “If I have an hour, I’ll do a workout video at home, like Dogpound’s,” she told Hustlefrom the New York gym adored by celebrities such as Hailey Bieber, Sofia Richie and Ashley Graham.
“Sometimes it’s difficult if I’m missing equipment, but it’s doable,” she added. The personal training center specializes in strength training and often uses the best resistance bands and dumbbells with their A-list clients.
