On Thursday, LivWell Health officially opened its doors with a ribbon cutting hosted by the LaGrange-Troup County Chamber of Commerce.

LivWell Health is a multidisciplinary wellness collective dedicated to helping individuals achieve their ideal health, appearance, and overall wellbeing.

Ryan Gatens said it was exciting to set up the LivWell vision with partners John Veal, Jordan Martinec and Abayomi Oshinowo.

“It’s been fun working with these guys, pushing this project forward and creating something new – something exciting in medicine that’s a far cry from the COVID world. We are blessed for sure,” Gatens said.

Gatens said the idea of bringing LivWell to LaGrange came from wanting to create some excitement in medicine from a patient perspective.

“A lot of people have been scared of hospitals and clinics because of COVID. In medicine in general, we thought it carried a negative connotation as we went through COVID. We wanted to find something that gets people excited about medicine — things that make people feel good,” Gatens said.

“Through Urgent Care, we saw some gaps in the community, especially in the primary care world and wanted to come up with some creative things that we can offer to the community and small businesses in primary care. LivWell combines many concepts into one. We want to be a one stop shop for citizens of Troup County. »

LivWell offers primary care, weight loss and aesthetic treatments including Botox, lip fillers, hydra facials, waxing, eyebrows, eyelashes and more.

“We’re bringing multiple modalities into one space so people don’t have to shop around,” Gatens said. “We will also be offering a direct primary care model that will be aimed at small businesses in the city. Employers who are in this small business field may have the option of offering a benefit to their employees if they cannot afford insurance for them.

Gatens said he believes the quality and variety of LivWell’s offerings will set them apart and attract potential new customers.

“We are a one-stop shop. A lot of the things we do are connected, and we want to put a positive vibe back into healthcare and get people excited about their bodies and their lifestyles. One of the core elements of LivWell and what it’s all about is yourself and seeing yourself in a positive light,” Gatens said.

LivWell is located at 210 W Broome Street.
