A travel agent turned fitness coach who lost 20 kg has listed the fat loss tips that helped her achieve her dream body.
Brittany McCrystal, 27, from Sydney, weighed 82kg when she got a desk job as a travel agent and spent her time in the nearby food court and ‘partying’.

But after ditching her “all or nothing” approach to dieting, she lost 20kg in just nine months.
in a new TikTok Videoshe shared how she achieved her weight loss goals — and the fat loss tips she swears by.
Brittany said the number one thing that made a difference was eating lots of low-calorie foods in large quantities.
Good examples include salad greens like arugula, high-water foods like cucumber and celery, and slow-release carbs to fill you up, including sweet potato.
You should pair them with a healthy fat source like avocado or extra virgin olive oil.
“Planning and preparing your meals in advance will also keep you from slipping up,” added Brittany.
She likes to set aside an hour to prepare all her lunches for the week on a Sunday and showed how she divides them into different containers.
Along with that, Brittany says tracking your food and what you eat will keep you accountable, while eating more fruit is good because it “helps reduce sugar cravings”.
Finally, she subscribes to the 80/20 rule, where she eats healthy 80% of the time and some of what she likes 20% of the time.
Brittany’s TikTok page is full of recipes for healthy twists on her favorite take-out classics, such as low-calorie cheesy chorizo sliders, a low-calorie, high-protein Big Mac and a low-calorie Mexican beef supreme wrap.
Brittany lost weight by combining her 80/20 healthy eating approach with regular workouts and 10,000 steps a day.
“The best exercise for losing weight is the one you love,” Brittany said in another video, adding that she’s still aiming for consistency rather than perfection now.
“Find a workout you enjoy and do it 3-4 times a week. You don’t need to train every day.
Brittany said she trained various areas of her body on different days, including lower body moves like hip thrusts and kicks and upper body workouts like bend rows and curls of biceps.
She also made sure to get enough sleep and stay well hydrated.
Today, the 27-year-old practices what she preaches and works as a fitness coach, training men and women to lose weight.
She eats everything she likes “in moderation” and has completely changed her mindset about food.
“I know carbs aren’t bad for you,” Brittany says in a video.
“You don’t need to cut carbs, eat only 1,200 calories and do cardio all the time to lose weight.”
