“I have been overweight most of my adult life. I was diagnosed and (hopefully) successfully treated for breast cancer in 2021/2. Due to this life changing event , I decided it was time to change my weight for good. I was advised to go on a low carb diet, hooray, all “naughty” foods were now allowed. I was allowed strawberries and cream, butter, whole milk and yogurt I didn’t miss the carbs I found a gym card today it showed the exercises I did in 2018 and recorded my weight at 10 kg MORE than I am now. Fantastic results. You feel great and now you have a book with vegetarian cooking recipes! Thank you for your advice. Life changing.”
“The manual helped me understand the theory behind the new way of eating for me. It helped me gain the confidence to try new types of meals to replace the ones that were trained as part of my upbringing. They helped me reduce my insulin dose and my sugar level which was described as excellent for an insulin user!
“I just want to thank you and your team for the work you put into the low carb initiative. Whilst it has certainly helped me immensely in losing nearly 2 stone, it has also helped us with our pub meals, something we will continue to pursue over the course of the year. It becomes all the more attractive as my local customers in particular have become interested in this way of eating thanks to the awareness promoted by Freshwell. The pub and I have used your menus extensively and even our own chefs have been surprised at how the meals can be adjusted to provide a low carb option.
The planners build on the success of the Freshwell Low Carb Project and previous low carb planners written by Dr. Andrews, which have helped many people improve their well-being.
