The College of Health Sciences invites the campus to join them in celebrating three retiring employees from 3-4:30 p.m. on Monday, April 24 in the Bishop Barnwell Hall of the Students’ Union Building. Refreshments will be offered.
The retirees are:
- Marian Graham, Executive Assistant, School of Nursing, 35 years with Boise State
- Marilyn O’Mallon, Associate Professor and RN-BS Online Completion Program Director, School of Nursing, seven years at Boise State
- John Lampignano, Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Radiological Sciences, five years service at Boise State
Marian Graham has worked for the School of Nursing since 1989, supporting faculty and school administrators. She has developed a data collection plan and does regular analysis for the school. It develops and implements processes for collecting and trending data required for reporting to regulatory and accreditation bodies, and it establishes methods and procedures to ensure the quality of data collected. Graham is responsible for meeting all data and reporting requirements as mandated by the state and other national agencies for professional programs, including the State Board of Nursing and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, which accredits the Boise State School of Nursing. Graham also manages lesson scheduling for the school.

Marilyn O’Mallon joined the School of Nursing in 2016 as Director of the RN-BS Online Completion Program. She has also held several interim leadership positions for the school, including acting associate dean and chief nursing administrator. Prior to joining Boise State full-time, she was an adjunct professor for Boise State’s RN-BS program while teaching at Armstrong State University in Savannah, Georgia. Prior to her teaching career, O’Mallon served as a registered nurse, charge nurse and patient advocate in Georgia. She spent 16 years as a civilian military medical clerk, serving in a military hospital in Germany during the first Gulf War while her husband served in the military overseas.

John Lampignano joined the Boise State Department of Radiological Sciences full-time in 2019 after spending a year as a visiting scientist. He holds associate degrees from Glendale Community College and Maricopa Technical Community College, a bachelor’s degree from Weber State College in Utah, and a master’s degree in education from Arizona State University. He also holds certificates of completion in Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging from Loma Linda University. Lampignano has worked as an imaging technologist for the Arizona Cardinal Football Club since 1992 and as a radiation safety officer for HealthCare Imaging, LTD since 2010.
